![]() HER MARK aims to empower the next generation of female leaders. In addition to her broadcasting career, Kate founded and hosted the first HER MARK Summit in July 2017 a gathering of speakers, athletes and educational panels for 200 hand-picked Canadian female high school students. On March 24, 2021, she was part of NBA history hosting the first ever all female broadcast for the Raptors. In 2019, her work on the FIFA Women’s World Cup earned her a nomination for a Canadian Screen Award for best sports host. ![]() She is the host of the CFL and Toronto Raptors broadcasts on TSN. Kate has hosted many marquee sports events, including TSN Olympic Morning in 2012, CBC Olympic hockey in PyeongChang in 2018, NCAA March Madness, the NBA Draft and the Grey Cup. Born and raised in Port Perry, Kate pursued a career in sports broadcasting, joining TSN in 2014 where she was paired with Natasha Staniszewski, forming the networks first female anchor team on TSN’s flagship program SportsCentre.
